CSV Filter keeps the rows that match the conditions you define and drops the rest. Each rule is a column, an operator and a value, and a row has to satisfy every rule you add, so stacking rules narrows the result further. Operators cover text (contains, equals, starts with, ends with), numbers (greater than, less than) and blanks (is empty, is not empty).
A HubSpot contact export with 40,000 rows is the typical case: you want only the records that have an email address and a lifecycle stage of "customer". Two rules produce that subset, and the line above the table tells you how many rows survived before you download anything.
Click Add Rule for each condition, then Apply Filters. Download Filtered writes only the matching rows to a new file; the one you loaded is left as it was.
